This guy in Argentina had just a couple of American coins in his collection and I paid $25 for BOTH of these coins combined. I filled my small date 1821 hole and got my oldest issue Walking Liberty half. I'm excited to have this.

You may want to ask him if he has any of those beautiful early republican Argentinian coins for sale, like 1813 or 1815. Those are nice.

It´s a good deal also in our argentine market where those US old coins are very rare to see, and also in bad conditions are never cheap. US coins collecting are popular in Argentina. I would say would be payable around as minnimun of 40 u$d in our local market.

I read an article in NN years ago, that overseas was a great place to find old US coins. Just think how many old foreign coins are here, that nobody collects.
