That is a rare note. No way to assess value without seeing it in hand. Looks like some rust stains and and perhaps ink marks on the reverse. What is the owner asking? You can email me if you like. Compare to my $100 in the same series.

Hi jimbucks, at first Thank you for the answer. Congrats, your $100 GC is very cool. Yes, the bill has stains and a ink mark. I do not know what the owner wants for the banknote. I think that he want round about 20.000 Euros. ( US$25.500 )

Although rare, in that condition I think it is worth around $8000. Although I have purchased expensive notes raw, at that price point I would want it certified in either a PMG or PCGS holder. Looks like a net VG grade from the pics posted. Has nice colors but too many other issues.
The $25,500 is way, way too much. If you want notes like this, I can help you find them at reasonable prices.

Hi jimbucks, I think you see it right. I thought something of about $10,000. The owner will still inform and report back. Thank you also for your offer. It would be nice to have another good contact in the USA. However, at the moment I have to buy something less. I must earn Euros that I can buy good old Dollars. Banknotes are great but Euros earn means only working.

If you don't mind me asking, what part of Germany are you located? I've been throughout the country and like all parts of it. Munchen at Oktoberfest is incredible.

Sorry to divert this thread, but when I was in Hamburg it was great. The Inn Keeper did not speak English, and I did not speak German, but we got along and went to a pool hall and had a great time. How cool is that! Don't think I've been to Karlsruhe but who knows what the future may bring.
From my ventures I do know how to say Ja Freilly! (pardon the spelling)

Ja freilich. That is a bavarian slang and means: For sure. Hamburg is a very international City. You can have fun there. Ahhh, perhaps Karlsruhe is interesting too. It has been speculated that Karlsruhe was a model for Washington, D.C. as both cities have a centre from which the streets radiate outward. And now back to the $US. Coincidence or not? This pyramid is the symbol of Karlsruhe since 1805.
