Do you believe how putrid the "1798" date looks? I think even his fellow counterfeiters would get angry at this.

If you take a closer look at the bidding for both coins, the exact same few bidders bid on both coins. On the 1798, one guy kept on bidding over and over every few seconds, inching up the price by a few dollars each time.

It makes no sense. And the guy who won, it was his first ebay transaction. Man, this smells so fishy I want a tuna sandwich.

Until ebay starts losing money on this crap through expensive lawsuits it will continue. Until Customs starts snagging this stuff when imported it will continue.

Eventually, ebay will require all coins valued over "x" amount of dollars in value to be certified by one of their "approved" grading services. Just a matter of time before it happens.
