Yes,that's what I was thinkn because I don't really see anything else...any idea how that happens to one letter?

could be anything really. From small hits from objects to another coin's rim slamming against it.

Or s slight amount of grease in that device that makes that devices to look thicker because the higher device was filled.

Note how the spacing of the device falls into line with a normal other devices. So I'm thinking a slight grease prevention on that one device.
