Been in my collection a very long time. Probably grades Fine. I don't remember why I bought this and have no idea of value since I don't collect large size nationals.
Los Angeles-First only printed large-size notes and according to T&P there's just under 50 known from the particular name. This one is the 'rarest' of the 3 names from this charter. 22 known $10 nationals and priced at around $200 in Fine.
Now that is a great thing to come across in your collection! Look at the art on the reverse - simply spectacular. That is really a beautiful item you have jimbucks.
A very nice bill. A bill like this was sold in December 2011 for $184 at Heritage Auctions. He was graduated with VF-30 from PCGS. I think a real price in this condition is round about by $150. Los Angeles had many charter banks and another problem is that this variant were relatively often offered in much better condition. But that's just my personal opinion.
