Hello,
I would like to tell you a story. So I go to a school called Dallas Academy and I ride the bus to my school and my bus driver is 86 and a coin collector so I sit in the front and talk to him. He once god me a story about going fishing at the New Orlands bay and going to a bait shop. I would like to share t with y'all. From his point of view.

So,
One day I was going fishing by the bay and I went into the bait shop to pick up some worms. and the man in front of me gave the manager a 1 dollar bill and a silver dollar. the folks from the store didn't know what a silver dollar was so they wouldn't accept it so I told the man ill trade you a 1 dollar bill for that silver dollar. He accepted and he got his worms and left. he was so exited he didn't go fishing he went straight home to look at he coin. I was is shock at what I had found a 1829 silver dollar .

Great story but your dollar should be from another year but not 1829.
Suggestion: if the bus driver is 86 don't sit in the front. Always sit at back. If you want to talk with him do it when he is not driving.

I used to work at subway a few years ago, a guy tried to pay for his sub with one of our old $10 notes, I traded him for a new $10 note, he was happy and I was happy. Not super rare but certainly worth more than $10

Good story but I agree with Junjun, I think you mis-remembered the year. Unless you're not talking a non-American silver dollar! If that date is accurate, your buddy either has one of the rarest coins ever or an interesting fake.

Anyway, most of my stories are much more boring, opened a role of coins at work, looked at the edges, found some junk silver!

I'm confused. The person that bought the worms no longer had the coin. Why did he not go fishing? He had the worms, no dollar coin, so why not go fishing? You had the Silver Dollar, not him and that is why you took it home, not the fisherman.
And too if that bus driver is 86, sit in the rear and don't distract him.
