In keeping with my new found interest in $1 bills I got to wondering how difficult it would be to put together a collection of $1 bills from my hometown Federal Reserve Bank from present to the inception of the FRB.

Not to sure as to when that date was but I do know the total issues from one site or another. In keeping with that question, where can I find a listing that would show whether or not a $1 bill was issued from a particular bank or not (pretty sure they were).

I settled on this denomination because of the low value money wise. A $100 bill is definitely 100 times more expensive that the $1 bill.

Comments are welcome and more importantly advice.

Hi ghostrider,
it would help to know what is your home town.
Which district would be responsible.
The easiest is probably New York.
