Poll Question
With all of the special 2014 half dollars being released this year, it seems like a matter of time until they start showing up in rolls.

How long do you think it will take for a CCF CRH-er to open a roll and find a 2014 special issue?

I think that the clad ones are most likely to show up in rolls because they look like normal half dollars. The gold ones say "3/4 ounces .9999 fine gold" on them so those will not show up unless someone can't read. The silver ones are likely, but I think they look too "different" from the regular coins to be accepted by a cashier who does not know anything about coins.

I found one 2014 clad despite the fact I've searched only 14 boxes this year. I hope to search about 10 more boxes before year-end while on vacation over Christmas

I said soon because that is the most vague answer. Define soon.

These are no different than proofs and other NIFC finds we find in rolls. It is going to happen.
