How-Did-I-Do-On-This-Purchase?
Forked over $2.58 for the lot
Ironically, some of the tokens pictured are hardly uncirculated and have fingerprints.

Why do some exhibit cartwheel luster and some not?

EDIT:

How do you think I did? Can you please rate from 1-10 (10 being best) how I did on each purchase, with about 3 being paying retail price and 7 being wholesale price? This is to help me make better purchases off ebay next time. I paid $9 shipping in total, so the final price is about $1 higher than listed price. I felt I did mediocre at best money-wise, but the thing is, I like all of them as they add interesting variety to my collection and I honestly bought them because I wanted them.

Thanks. Prices below reflect price with shipping.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/39094886276...RK:MEBIDX:IT >> $4.45 for a 5 pound coin ... $4 writeoff of my purchase cost. I think it's an ok deal, but I think if I were to get rid of any of my coins, I would probably get rid of this one first... Least collectable coin in the lot.

I would generally assume that, just because all of these coins are now together in one photo, each one's exclusive history would personify a different environmental exposure composed of varying % humidity, differing temperature extremes and other nameless patina-affecting phenomena.

Try a dip in Acetone to see if any fingerprints vanish.
Things like those make for an entirely different type of coin collecting. You did well on the price too.

Unless the prints are fresh they won't come off. Paid well.

the op represents only part of the big haul off ebay I did yesterday-- all from same seller. Just paid today.

Mint Medal reverse. Or is it obverse? I assume they were some sort of gift shop item.

They are acutally also given in mint sets. When one takes apart a mint set, these coins get releaseed.
