My partner and I bought this one after watching it for a couple weeks. I know it's hard to tell from pictures but I believe the pl surface on the obverse is original. I sent the photos to a friend who's really good and he agreed and said that it is not uncommon for coins from that period to lack cartwheel luster if struck with recently polished dies. He believes due to the strong reverse strike it's possible that this coin is original. As always I look foward to you opinions. It's going to anacs with 5 day turnaround so I will post results in about a week thanks

Terrific coin. Images aren't perfect, but I see nothing to worry me about it.

I wouldn't be surprised if this coin came back as a lightly circulated Proof.

Except it's from San Francisco.

Not enough evidence in these smaller images to determine grade or circulated/Uncirculated.
