I know a lot of folks here swear by Dansco albums but I find them to be too much cardboard and too little coin.
The Dansco 7000 mentioned uses vinyl pages for twelve 2x2 holders per page. Yes, that is eight fewer than a twenty pocket page; but the Dansco is a more compact album than a three ring binder.

True. If I had to do it all over again, I might have chosen differently.

jbuck, thanks for the heads up. I didn't know about the 7000 before. Is it something new?

This is something I will consider going forward.

Right now my album of choice is the Guardmaster style which I can easily customize to suit my collection and I like the small size.

BTW, I recently got into Ikes and I totally blame you.

Nope, the 7000 has been out for a while.

I only have one actual 7000, bought in the early '90s...

I have three other albums like it that I made by buying blank binders and pages...

For what it is worth, most of the pages have held up very well. I have a couple pages that are sagging, but it is my fault for top-loading them up with heavier coins. I have since reorganized that album and the pages have flattened out some, but I will probably replace them eventually.

I've been assembling my first pass at the collection and it looks like I'm going to need ONE MORE 2x2 holder page. Rats! When I get things finalized I will scan the pages before putting them in the binders and share photos.
