I recently moved into a new apartment and one of the most important tasks was setting up my new reading nook. I've got my comfy chair and my books at hand, all is good. Now where'd I put my coffee? And a list of my current numismatic library. I wish Q. David Bowers would write a book on Seated Liberty half dimes and Dimes. Or even one on all Seated Liberty coinage. I really enjoy his writing style. If anyone has any suggestions for books I might add please let me know. Edited by Tbone 11/08/2014 2:28 pm

Looks nice and comfy. As for books to add -- go to the library and look through theirs first. You'll soon figure out which ones you really need/want. P.S. I think that chair needs a cat on it.

Quote: I think that chair needs a cat on it Perhaps, but only if there is a second chair with enough space for a dog to rest on it Nice spot 'Tbone' - put a small shelf on the wall for your coffee pot and whatever else you need to have handy (eg a loupe).

Cool set up. If you'd like a copy of the list westcoin and I have been working on, shoot me an email. Kevin Flynn has a new book on Seated half dimes coming out soon. -MV

Tbone - I'd start with copies of All about coins and The history of US coins as illustrated by the Garrett Collection both by Q. David Bowers. I think you will really enjoy them, both are some of my very favorite numismatic books ever written. P.S. Glad you like the book list!

Thanks westcoin.
I'm having trouble finding anything titled "All About Coins" by Q. David bowers. Could it be titled "Adventures With Coins" by Q. David Bowers?
