Hello coin friends, today I'm showing a proof like 1969 nickel dollar with doubled Elizabeth II, DG Regina, crazy doubled beads, doubling on neck and flattened step like doubling on chin, nose and brow of Elizabeth. Some doubling on the jewels of the crown. A bit closer ... Is this prevalent in 1969 Nickel dollars? Is it considered Machine Doubling? Thanks for any and all comments.
close up ... notice chin, nose and brow and RE in REGINA, and beads all around esp bottom of coin.

Is that a proof coin? if not its probably Machine Doubling. It takes at least 2 strikes for flat field.

You can find this phenomenon on the obverses of PL nickel dollars from 1968 to 1974... some years scarcer than others.

I have a coin just like that one except the words are on opposite sides of your coin. What does that mean?

Hard to tell but it looks like Strike Doubling (MD) to me. I see no evidence of Flat Field Doubling. The the best of my knowledge, RCM was not double striking the PLs in 1969. The 1968 and to somewhat a lesser degree, were not nearly as well struck as later issues. Better images would help a lot as all this is guess work.
