I see some doubling on the "9", "3" and "4" as well as the motto areas of the reverse. Or am I seeing things?

Any help is appreciated.

Looks like more machine damage on the date area. Note the 4 is reduced in the center of the upright. Telling me it is MD.

Sorry, I can't see what you are showing on the reverse? A closer shot might show what you are seeing. But with it being just opposite the date area it is probably machine damage there also.
