I have a 1858 Flying Eagle cent, How does one tell if it is large letters, or small letters? The date? Thanks.

The large letter cent has the A and M in AMERICA are joined, while in the small letter desigh they are separated.

As noted it is in the lettering surrounding the obverse.
Of course if you can not tell, you could just send it to me and that will end the strain on your eyes trying to see this difference.

Hi, carl, I really can't do that postage is to high to u.s. lol
Actually I am trying to complete a set of Indian heads am missing 10,and of course a couple of flying eagles.
