If I read it right, the obverse legend starts FERNANDVS, and on the obverse I recognise ...GIO:A:S:G+REX:ET:REG... Based on that I would link it to Ferdinand and Isabella, ie late 15th century. From the look of the item it might actually be a jeton produced later. What is the size and the weight? Report this Post to the Staff

Or at least not high percent silver. Possibly Billon? The coin weighs a little over 7 grams and is about the same size as a U.S. quarter (24 mm, 5.68 g), but much thinner.
