I'm no expert, but this looks cleaned. Tell me what you think about the grade and finish [[ Moved]]

Yep you are correct...someone destroyed the collectibility of this coin.

A bit unusual. Only a woodie on the obverse.

Not sure if this ones a woodie. The surface looks scratched up pretty good. I could be wrong but when I blow up the pic it sure looks like it. Take a loop and see if you can tell if they are actually scratches or not

I would say it looks like a 'woodie' to me on the obverse. The reverse looks AU

Under 16x I do see scratches, but they look more like abrasions. Does this all mean the coin has no significant numismatic value?

It's a one sided woody, I don't think it has been cleaned.

The woodie finish is more prominent on the obverse but is also faint on the reverse. IMHO, this coin was never cleaned.
I'll agree that it looks AU, sorry I can't be more specific than that.

In that case, would it be valued the same or less than a regular toned AU?

I guess I stand corrected. When I blow this up it sure looks like it was roughly cleaned.
