I gave up on Dansco albums some years ago after some devastating losses that I could not explain. This despite low humidity, cool conditions and even using those sleeves for the albums. It wasn't all of the albums either. It was just a couple in particular but as I said it was to much to bare so I started using Air-tite products. Now with Air-tite I no longer have any of the aforementioned issues but it has presented another issue and that is how to display them properly.
Some time ago, I came up with the idea of placing the completed airtite in a flip and then without stapling the flip, I inserted the flip in these mylar display pages that have I think 24 to a page. The problem with this is that when viewing the coin, you are looking through the mylar of the album page and then the thin vinyl flip and then finally the Air-tite capsule so it doesn't present the best view of the coin.
So does anyone use Air-tite products and how are you displaying your coins?

Here is a link to what my album looks like back when I started doing it in 2011. https://goccf.com/t/84425I'm still looking for a classier way to display the Air-tites though

I'm looking for a solution to this problem as well.
Having given up on coin flips I now use airtites for all but my least valuable coins.

Here is my problem with the actual Air-tite albums. Lincoln Cent pages in these albums only hold 9 coins! By the time you pay for the album and pages, you are at around $40 but the worst part is that I would need 5 albums just for the Lincoln cents! So the albums and pages are $200 and then you will likely spend over $100 for the Air-tites, etc. Yes, all of mine are already in Air-tites but I guess my major issue is that an entire album can only hold 54 Lincoln cents. Just seems like they could design something better.

If you have a lot of the same size capsules, the lighthouse pages might work well (but never used them personally): They are not too expensive and the pages fit a lot more coins than airtite pages do. For example, this page holds 48 size A airtites and is $7 for a pack of 2: http://www.lighthouse.us/epages/lig...NCAP24/25%22

I like the lighthouse pages. Didn't realize they were available. Might have to give them a try.

Lighthouse capsules are horrible compared to Air-tite. Very easy to remove coins. Also I'm pretty sure your pricing is incorrect. An A sized album already has the cards for $30. Empty albums are $23, and individual cards are $1. I realize that is still $150 though for your needs. There is also the http://www.bookofsilver.com/ which can hold 56 airtites. You would probably want to remove the wording with some acetone or Greased Lightning. Not much better on cost either I'm afraid, but it would get rid of Mylar and flip.

I use Whitman Classic Albums. I put them in Zip Lock Plastic bags and have had no problems in many, many years. Been doing that as long as there have been those Albums and those plastic bags. Never, ever a problem.

For storage and easy access (rather than display), I used the acrylic boxes that hold 20 airtites in display cards for many years. I would add a sticker to the back of the display cards with info on each coin and might still be doing it if they had boxes that held 40 or more items.

Quote: Lighthouse capsules are horrible compared to Air-tite. Very easy to remove coins. Have to disagree with this assessment. I have been using the Lighthouse holders, as well as the Air-Tite holders, for years at this point and find both to offer secure storage. The Air-Tite holders do take more effort to open, but the Lighthouse holders are secure - and their album pages for capsules work very well. @yarm - I like what you got going on there. Where do you get the boxes and display cards? Right now I have a lot of different coins and that looks like something I would enjoy doing.
