as a manager at Mcds I have alot of money to look after when I take over the safe. We have something in our drive-thru called a coin-changer ( you see them at the end of the cashier counters at Safeways everywere ). Our coin-changer is sooo specific on the coins that can fit through the feed slot that I have to check it every time before I put it in because if a foreign coin ends up in it then all heck breaks loose.
As I've been collecting for little over a year now I can mostly tell if a coin has to be pulled from the changer just by looking at the rim of the coin ( foreigns are the easiest to spot )
So I was checking the coin-changer last night before putting it in the DT and low-and-behold the left dimes column had soo many silver dimes in it! I pulled roughly 10 of the 1967 mackeral dimes from the one column alone! as well as a few phillipines 1-peso from the quarter columns!
so thats 10 silver dimes and a few foreigns that I saved from ending up in your change :) lol

Been a dry spell looking through circulated coins at my job until today hit! A few days back I found a 1940 nickel which was something until I found a 1957-D wheat today which was exciting hadn't seen a wheat at my job in a few weeks or so, but then upon cracking a roll open was a well-worn 1910 cent! Oldest coin I have ever found circulating relatively speaking ( I had a 1909 in my wallet I got in change somewhere back in 2006).

Got a 2009-P Guam quarter today. My second one ever, and my first in two years. Obverse is a bit dirty though, but to me it's still a keeper.

Found a 1956-D wheat today. In decent shape, maybe VF/EF.

I have a find that is more interesting on how I obtained it than what I have found : D
I was buying gas earlier this morning and noticed a donation bucket for a local charity and a roll of pennies was inside. I was under the assumption it was going to be a OBW roll of 2011 shields. I decided to donate and the cashier let me have the roll of pennies. I searched through it and found a 1942 wheat inside! It was a very good roll because it had 17 zinc cents and 33 coppers! There were lots of 70's coppers and a good fraction of them BU!

Bought a bag of pennies off the bank machine.
12 Wheaties. Oldest 1918. That's the second 1918 cent I've pulled this month.
