1952-S nickel and a practically brand new 1969-S cent!

one of my coworkers found a 1967 canadian quarter in the drawer and let me trade it in! It is my first silver coin that is not an American coin! When I researched it, I noticed it could be worth either in the $3-range or $5-range, depending on the silver content. I wonder how to find out the content without having to weigh for the difference, since I have no method of weighing it.

Went to cash my loose change into the coinstar near my house. Nothing in the reject bin, but the good part was when I went to cash in the voucher. It was 50 something dollars with 26 cents. When I got to my car, the 26 cents turned out to be a 1975 cent, and a Grand Canyon P quarter! It was obverse side up but I immediately recognized that it was a park quarter before I checked the reverse when I saw the restored 1932 bust of GW. Always nice to find a park quarter in circulation!

I found a 1930 Mercury dime in the coinstar machine the other day. It was so black and dirty that I thought it was a penny at first. |

I always look in that tray in the coinstar, haven't found anything besides the development of OCD but I keep looking.

I once found a 1955 Canadian penny while looking through change, and another time I got a 1945-S Jefferson nickel. |
