Quote: A teller at one of my dump banks gave me a 1972-D Ike for $1. Very, very nice! That is one very nice teller. Do they have any more?

Friday, I got some Kennedy's from the bank that someone had dropped off for deposit. When I got them home I found that there were 15 bicentennial coins from Denver in almost very clean condition. I know that they are not anything special but I sure hate to return them to circulation becauce they sure are pretty. I think that will keep them until I tire of them.
Who knows in maybe 100 years they will be scarce.

ckrakowski, Yes they are proofs. I just saw them in the coin holder that tellers have and asked her if I could get those, she agreed so I got all 3 she had for a face.

1930 plain wheat and 1955-D wheat yesterday... And a 1958-D today from my work. Been finding wheats more often lately.

on fire with the Wheats again... I already reported I came across a 1958-D, but later on in my shift I found THREE wheat cents in one bank roll. A personal first for me. I got a 1944-D, 1946-D & 1949!

Today, the "impossible": A Gettysburg- P Quarter in my change. The first Philadelphia-mint ATB Quarter I've found in Denver circulation.
