Today: 2011-P Olympic ATB Quarter

The second "P" ATB I've found in three years of searching my pocket change!

Nothing today. First time in MONTHS that I've been totally skunked. No nice reds, no star notes, no silver, no wheats, no old nickels, NOTHING. A few of the nickels that I need for Kelly's roll, but I knew they'd be in the coin changer--someone used one of our new rolls.

I landed a 1943-S nickel today I pretty much crapped my pants when I saw it because it became the THIRD silver coin I have discovered in circulation in the last four days!!

1960 plain Large Date cent (I think any 1960 plain cent is hard to come by). Also a 1969-S Cent, followed by 1941-D & 1958-D nickels. Also a 1952-D wheatie all last night from work!

1946 nickel last night! It's been a slow season for me; I suspect that's because most of my customers don't use change, so I'm just getting bank stuff over and over.

Got this at the CVS last night. I do not see too many of these down here...

For the record, this is definitely a date that I did not have.

Muchos de nada esta noche (a whole lot of nothing tonight). This is weird, I had such a flush couple of weeks and now NOTHING!! Just a common date wheatie (1944).

Not really a pure circulation find, but the guy at the coin shop gave me a 1934 silver certificate in my change. It's pretty beaten up to the point where there isn't much value over face. Very cool to carry around in my wallet though!

Got 4 Ikes from a dump bank! Turns out some guy just recently deposited about $15 in Ikes. Decided to use the change in my wallet to get a 1972-D, 1974-D, 1977-D, and a 1978-D

Found another silver dime! 1962-D Roosevelt dime in a bank roll from a till at work which filled a hole in my album. This is a dime I attempted to purchase from the coin shop three times, but they were out of stock each time making it an even sweeter find.
