Well, I guess my luck ran dry on halves. 10 rolls of halves, and all I get is a beat up 1964 that looks like it got run over by a truck! Well, at least it's silver. Now I've got to return the other $99.50 in halves.

Well I didn't find it my mom did but she gave it to me quickly. It's a 1901 Barber quarter in ag-3 condition! Not a bad find for a non-collector

a 10 cent piece from the cayman islands. it passed off as a nickel for it's size, but the design is so different that it makes you wonder about the alertness of people sometimes.

Awesome find today, probably the Find Of The Year so far!! *drum roll*

1980-S Proof SBA dollar!!

It's kicked around in circulation for a little bit, it has some marks but it's still really nice looking. One of our customers has a restaurant, and this was in his deposit.

Whoa!

I'm not sure what I found.

Guess it was passed off as a nickel.

One side has a heraldic lion and the words "CESKA REPUBLIKA." Other side has a "2" and "KC" and some artwork.

Beats me as to where it's from.

I'm tossing it into a pile of coins for a trade with ndgoflo.

If anyone can identify the coin, I would be interested.

Sounds a 2 koruna piece from the Czech Republic.

If you got it instead of a nickel, you got a good deal...sort of. At current exchange rates it's worth about nine cents.
Rest in Peace

Thanks Ziggy:

I had a feeling it might be the Czech Republic, or something from eastern Europe anyway.
