Snooba, thanks for the offer of the United Nations 20 cent, however I already have this coin, so I will respectfully decline your offer. Thanks anyway. However if you have any 20 cents between 1983 and 1993 I would be only too happy to take those off your hands. Found today is a 1969 5 Yen. My son found it at school and he had to fight all the other kids off who wanted it too. Fortunately he is a big lad and a brown belt in Karate. So guess who won. That's my boy.LOL Steve

mnemtsas,
It is on its way! I hope you enjoy it, it's in amazing condition for a circulated coin. Someone must have just broken it out of the 1995 mint set, I'm sure.
Snooba.

I suppose it was sometime last year that I found this 2005 Buffalo nickel. Jeff has what on appearance looks like a tear coming down his eye. It's actually a crack right below his eye. Just can't remember if I found it in circulation or in a bank roll. I just got a clear picture of it on my digital camera, but won't be getting it on a disk until I take many more shots and then taking it to the store to be put on a CD. I just don't have the equipment to do it myself. I'll post it when I do. Does anyone know of this coin error? Where I could I look it up? I've searched the internet and haven't been able to find anything.

I guess the best find I've had(I think) is an 1862 Indian Head cent in roughly VF20.

I found a 1992 5-cent piece from Fiji today. My co-workers actually bagged up the coin for me while I was gone last week, so I didn't have mounds of coin to go through! That's both good and bad, less work for me, but fewer goodies to find... Rachel

Hi Mark, I'm glad you like it. Isn't it in freaky condition to be pulled from circulation?
Yesterday in circulation, I found a Ram's Head 50c and two Fijian 50c coins.

Snooba,
Wow. Good finds. One of my guilty pleasures at work is going down to the coke machine and putting a $2 coin in pressing return and getting 4 50c coins out. I keep the nicer commems that I find and put the rest back and hit the coin return again. I keep going until I have 4 I am happy with. It is certainly a nice distraction in the middle of a bad day at work!
