I went into a convenience store and the clerk told me she had just found a "silver quarter" in the till. Of course I figured it was just a pre-1965 quarter. Turns out it was a New York proof Statehood Quarter. I have never found a proof coin in circulation. Maybe one of these days. Report this Post to the Staff
