My Washington 90% Silver Quarter luck continues! Got a 1934 Philly. Looks like an F12 Obverse and VG8 Reverse. Most likely cleaned as well. Mike

Gary: You do have "slat rats" from all over the World heading to "Ride" from there. Probably one of them dropped off a coin or two along the way.

Found 3 nice wheaties this week, in my cash drawers at work. Picked a silver dime out of a tellers coin rack thingy from the stall over, which made the guy do a double take. It was kinda funny. Also found a 3 silvers in 4 rolls of halves; all were in the same roll.

It's usually springtime before I find the first coin of the current year. This year it happened a little sooner. In my pocket tonight was a 2007 D Lincoln Cent.

Congratulations. I usually find my first in January, but so far I haven't had any luck.

Just fished a 1962 D silver Roosevelt in VF condition out of the change cup in the break room - someone paid for his cup of coffee with it!

1903S from a roll of circulated dimes. it looks like it was run over by about a thousand trucks, drilled with a jackhammer, burned in a chemical fire, then buried in acidic soil for 100 years; but much better than the 2006P ones I found in every roll.

Good find Steve.
I would have to look to be sure, but I think I picked up a similar coin during our trip to Europe last spring.

My best find is a 1979-D quarter that I got in change from a candy machine. The reverse is normal but the obverse is the color of toned copper. I checked the weight and it was light by about 1 gram; this indicated that it could be a genuine mint error with a missing obverse clad layer. I sent it in to NGC and they certified the error with a grade of MS-63. The other day I picked up 3 rolls of halves at the bank. They were wrapped in an odd white plastic film, with "$10.00" hand-written on the outside in blue marker. Out of the 60 coins, 32 were assorted dates from 1971 to 2005. The remaining 28 were 1964 P & D Kennedys (90% silver). Sure made my day!
