I found six wheats; 41, 44, 44-D, 46-S, 51-D, and 58-D. I also found six S mints varying in year from '69-'71 (I keep all S mint coins I come across). Not a bad little haul if I do say so. She knew I collected, and thought I would like the money. I purchased the bills from her. One was a series 1950, and the other a 1977. Rather than take up space here, please see my thread in the United States Paper Money forum. I'm trying to find out if the bills are valuable or not. Your opinions would be appreciated. I got a box of quarters today, and have checked 10 rolls. There were two 1964's, one a "P", and the other a "D".', and a 1954-S. The '64's were very nice, but the '54 is a beauty! it is MS60, at least. It looks BU, but I don't grade coins, so it is anyones guess.. Wonder what the rest of the box has for me? I go to a bank with a free coin counting machine. I usually buy some nickels rolls to look through a couple of times a week, then when I get enough, I take the ones I don't want back and have them counted by the coin counting machine and add the proceeds to my account. Today went to the coin machine and in the reject bin at the bottom, there were two foreign coins just sitting there: a Jamaica 1985 10 cents and a U.K. 2002 5 pence. Not worth much, but they were free. Now I will be one of those who goes around looking in the change bin of the pay phones etc. only will do it with coin counting machines.
