Judement day cometh in about two weeks. The 1787 NJ copper and the Barber 1915-D quarter have been submitted to PCGS. Let the chips fall where they may . I also had them geade a 1997 proof silver eagle. As soon as I get the coins back, I'll let ya'll know the results.

how much does it cost per coin to get them graded?

$30/ea for the 1787 & eagle, $15 for the barber

True, that...I (metal) detected Mercury dimes near an old fancy beach house on Nantucket Island about six years ago. There were almost a roll's worth of dimes and they were in G-F condition. Amazing, really.

Update: the 1787 New Jersey Penny is coming back from PCGS graded as..... DRUMROLL PLEASE>>>>> NOT GENUINE. The 1915-d Barber quarter is still going through the process and so is the 1997 Proof silver eagle.

UPDATE: PCGS - submittals - 1915-D Barber quarter comes back as NOT cleaned but has a scratch and they will not grade it, at least it came back as not cleaned. The 1997-P proof eagle comes back as PR69DCAM - finally some good news. I just sent in a two coin 1995 Civil War Commemorative set for PCGS grading.
