Just wondering if this is a true mint error?

I would be suspicious. The design stays very sharp all the way to the ends of the coin.

I was thinking that. If the nickel was struck on a dime planchet, would you still get a rim and edging of a normal dime?

It looks real but I do have a few questions I would ask before purchasing it.

Seems this seller has a golden touch in finding error coins. Wish I knew where his bank is located.

The reeded edge of the dime comes from the collar. A nickel has a smooth collar so there will be no reeded edge.
The penny looks good to me.

I bet he bought these errors at the last Torex auction.

the rim doesn't look right to me, and the coin would be off center would it not? it wouldn't be perfectly circle equal all around.

I believe it is real. You can see the raised area where the rim should be on the dime.

It is very real, and tougher year to find, if you collect date runs of 5c struck on 10c planchets.

Undoubtedly!! If I had not blown my budget at the Moore Legacy auction last June, this bidder would have had some competition at Torex!!
