I haven't a clue what this might be, but I have an odd feeling that it might be from North or South America. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm sorry to say that I don't have access to my scale right now. But it is 26mm in diameter, and it appears to be made of copper.

I looked through my Krause Catalog, and I didn't see your coin.

My first suspicion was that it is a crude counterfeit/copy of a US cent.
Or some sort of token.

Wow, I can only say that it's one crude token/coin/contemporary counterfeit.
My guts tell me that it's South American...but I am just about clueless about this one.

It's so crude, I can't imagine any legitimate government issuing it. Some type of a local issue or a store token is my guess. It makes a SBA dollar look good!
