Does anybody know how many different dies that are accepted as inverted S for the 1928
Standing Liberty quarter? I was originally told 'only one,' but even at PCGS there seems to be at least three different dies that they have certified.
http://www.pcgscoinfacts.com/Coin/D...5951?redir=tIt might just be me, but I feel that the PCGS coins don't all pass the 'upside down' test. That is, the MM doesn't look 'correct' when you flip the photo 180 degrees.
I have seen certified examples at shows that appear to differ from even these.
Any insight would be much appreciated.
