Hi All

I'm wondering if the dot on the mint mark and the enhanced wheat grain on this coin would be die chips? Is it common to have one die chip on each side of a coin?

Thanks

There can be one or several on the wheat cents of the 50's because they over used the dies past normal retirement. The reverse looks like a Retained Cud.

Thanks coop! I can see that now that you point it out, though I did have to check the meaning of " Retained Cud" in the glossary!
