I do see a "D" looking thing directly southeast of that dark scratch, but genuine 1916-D's I've seen have the mintmark higher and tilted pointing more southeast. Then again the positioning isn't exact. Need a couple more pics at a lower angle instead of directly overhead. Report this Post to the Staff
