1903 H 5 Cent Silver.. - Coin Community Forum

DEVLEC Pillar of the Community Canada 3234 Posts	Posted 11/18/2014 2:04 pm When I blow up this 5 cent photo, I can see some doubling or re-engraving in the H. I'm seeing this in the top left serif and again in the top right serif. The center cross bar in the H also looks like there is a fine bar below and a crisper bar above and inset from the main cross bar. How would the 5 cent experts here describe this 1903 H..? Strach-Man Valued Member Canada 491 Posts	Posted 11/19/2014 8:18 pm Ok I just looked up your coin in the 2014 Charlton Book page 92 and they are calling it a 1903 small H over small (SH/H). The re-punched H looks to be a close match very nice re-punching on this coin Report this Post to the Staff
