I have some extra proof like and brilliant uncirculated sets from 1962 to 1989. Ideas on what to do with them? Sell/trade them off? Are they worth more whole or separated? I've seen some ICCS graded pre-1968 proof like go for more than the whole sets in the original pliofilm.

How many do you have (pre 67 vs post 67)? Do you have anything in particular you're looking for in terms of trade or $ value? If you're looking to just get rid of them, sell them whole...selling separately could prove to be a daunting/time consuming task, especially if you have a lot of them.

specifically I have 1962, 1963, 1964, 1966, 1967, 1972, 1973, 1975, 1976, 1980 to 1989. 1 extra set for each year.

For trades I always looking for some pre 1937 50 cent pieces, bank of Toronto paper money, and just started in the last year collecting silver dollars graded by ICCS MS64 or higher.

As a general rule they're worth somewhat more separated than whole but as @skip79 says, it's not enough more to justify the effort unless you're going to really get into the selling. Keep in mind that putting a coin into a TPG flip will cost you about $10 each. ICCS doesn't have a web site but here's a link to CCCS rates http://www.canadiancoincertificatio...hp?c=17&lg=1
