Kind of interesting. Anyone know how this could occur without bending the coin. I wouldn't think you could bend it to crack it like that. Was there a flaw in the planchet?

Very cool. Copper is too soft to break in half without bending the coin. I suspect that this was caused by a planchet flaw, a result of impurities or improper prep work on it. As for a grade, VF details, cracked(?).
