Hi all, found this note believe it or not in a worn old envelope in a box of trash. the condition is pretty rough but still is pretty cool note I think. anyone know more about it? sorry about image quality.

Kool find! You see a lot of $10's on this bank because of the "Hamilton on Hamilton" scenario. $10's are a lot more popular.

It is a fairly "common" bank note and would retail in the 50 to 80$ range.

Walking it to a dealer at a show they "might" offer you 30 to 50$ for it. If it were a $10, they'd probably up their offer a few dollars.

Nice that you were able to save the note from being lost forever.

This is a 1929 Type 1. According to my Kelly census CD there are 147 small size 1929 notes listed, but yours isn't one of them.

You do realize that Nationals are not on that list, right? The 1929 National Currency listed on that chart are the 1929 Federal Reserve Bank Notes not this type of note.

Nationals are such a specialized field with wide price differentials based on the issuing bank that this type of generalization is useless.
