So, it seems that wire transfers and exchange fees are expensive today.

I wonder how many solid and repeater serial bank notes are there

Carrying $400k in cash with you sounds like a terrible idea.

Worst idea ever... I have a feeling it was a "plant" to cause interest in the show perhaps...

Simply because there is just too much risk with that kinda paper at once...

On a side note.. most of those bills were handled pretty roughly.. really a sad state..

Did he say what business he was in to warrant all that cash? I know in the movie business, every dept had huge petty cash accounts to deal with "on location problems that needed bribes"

I believe it is the Movie business. I saw the show.
it is perfectly legal as long as you declare it, which he did.

Perfectly legal.. yes.. but super annoying...

Anything over 10K has to be declared. I think the video only showed a little snip of the line of questions this individual must have endured..

All I can say is that this was probably a very VERY desperate situation... I can't think of anyone or business that would under go such a nuisance as well as risk if it wasn't the absolute last option.
