yes it is fascinating in regards to the close design margin and the farther away margin on the back. It is known that the note if it is in a UNC condition, that these "errors" detract the value of the coin. However, this version of the difference of the margin and design, it may be a different thing altogether.


the note looks to be a F-15, but as you may be aware there is no definite answer to the grade, because you need a feel and a strong light looking at the rim.

Until you get to the point where you can see the margin or more of what should be the next note beside it... this kind of misalignment usually depreciates the value of the note as there is "less" eye appeal.

So yes an error .. as it's not perfectly centred.. but unfortunately .. that doesn't always increase the value of the note
