I am a big fan of Mercury dime clashed dies while checking this one out. It also appears to be ddo-002.

Still new to this series but the ddo-002 looks good, but can anyone here can confirm this?

nice big microscope photos below the front and back photo.

This one is a close call as it is difficult to tell with this type of DDO, the 44 has good notches. I would say yes and the clashes are a bonus. Dr. Wiles need good example for his eBook, he can have better pictures taken, this one can be a good candidate as none of the stages are confirm from his web site 44-P DDO-2 example.
