I see this one as MS-65 PL.

MS64. It should have a plus if it's in a newer holder.

MS65 today, if in an older holder maybe graded at MS64, don't think it will garner the coveted PL designation.

That's really nice, no way of knowing from those pics if it's PL or not. Coin looks MS-65.

Thanks for your comments! PCGS gave this MS63. This coin would not make proof like if resubmitted but it's close which gives it a nice look overall. I might try to cross this with NGC, MS65 would be a huge value swing but I doubt it gets there.

Nice '86-S. Have you considered sending it to CAC?

I haven't decided if I want to try to cross it at NGC for hope of a higher grade or send as is to CAC. Would CAC add that much value to this if it were to pass? A jump from 63-64 is decent if it were to happen.

I'm guessing the MS63 was given because of the chatter in the fields (or that may be the lighting) and the breaks in luster on Lady Liberty and the eagle.

64 with cameo but not enough mirror to make PL. Possibly 65 in a new holder.
