Per PCGS.com there are zero MS-69 dimes in the entire series. But read my entire post.

Although it is an old NGC "soapbox" holder guess I have close to the next best thing with a MS-68 CAC. This date is pop 4 in PCGS and pop 7 in NGC. CAC has 3 in MS-68, and 60 in MS-68 FSFB, and 1 in MS-69 MSFB! WOW, I guess PCGS/NGC have not updated their pops to reflect the MS-69.

Heritage has record of 16 Mercury sales in MS69. Many are obvious duplicates, but I saw a 1939 MS69 and a 1939-D MS69FB in PCGS slabs, as far back as 1995. No idea why PCGS says what they do. Perhaps those two got resubmitted and downgraded.

I know anacs has a few MS-69 FSB. I read an article where a dime board was sent to them and they graded more MS-69 FSB's from that batch than they had in the entire history of ANACS.

Sort of makes me wonder about the grades of the Mercury dimes in my set #1. All except 5 with FSB's.
Set #2 not far behind either.
