Funky-1902-IHC,-Fake?

I pulled this from a roll and didn't think anything of the shape until just recently when I was giving it another look.

The shape isn't a trick of the camera, it's not entirely round, more like a slightly squashed egg shape in hand. Closer to the size of a dime than a cent, as almost every edge of a LWC was visible around it when I stacked them, and the weight is 2.9 grams.

I am entirely stumped.

I wouldn't be so quick to say yes. There's the possibility that it's bent and it's messing with the details.

Not terribly out of tolerance..weight wise.
The size is strange because the rim and other elements appear normal.

I'll try and take a picture of the overlap when I get a moment. But working retail, this time of the year, I have to run!

Hmm...it looks distorted somehow. Perhaps it was removed from some kind of casing?
But usually you see distinct damage around the rims on those.

The details look OK, but the grainy surface is questionable. I have no idea.
