Hey there, hope you are all doing well. I was just browsing ebay, and I noticed this. What are your opinions on the genuine factor to this clip. not good enough pictures of the side of the coin to really tell. Please help.

Not a legit straight clip... try searching (using Google image) for straight clips, and pay attention to where the clip edge meets the struck elements of the coin (denticles, rim, devices, etc...).

yes that is what I thought eh! ya it is too bad when people people put false listings on ebay, and especially from the states charging almost $10 shipping!

Thanks for your feedback, and notice there is fading on the reverse, but the obverse looks like large dent.

pretty easy to tell that must be damage--and it must be angled towards the obverse too.
That's sure a lot for shipping a damaged coin.
