Hello,

The first album that I would like to buy is for Lincoln cents from 1909 to 2009. I have been looking at the Dansco album #7100 for Lincoln cents from 1909 to 2009. However, I am worried that the light brown background will make it hard to see the coins. If this is a valid concern would a Whitman coin album with a blue background be better?

Thank you

Many make that argument, but I have no problem seeing my brown cents in my tan (not brown) Dansco pages.

Preference will be entirely up to you. I myself use a dansco and have no issues viewing the coins or color of them. The pages are a light tan.

I LOVE my Dansco albums. All of them. The only thing about my Dansco Lincoln album is that darn slot for the 1922 no D. It is an expensive coin and I personally don't think "errors" should be in with the regular guys, but that's just me. Also, I can't stand empty slots so eventually I am going to have to fill that one. Right after the 1914D that is also empty.. 2 to go!

I have a Dansco. I think the brown looks good with the cents. I prefer blue whit and for my silver coins though.

I use a Dansco 7100 and I think the coins look fine in it.

Jbuck and Debrajc, I just stuck a mint set token in the 22 Plain hole and I'm over it!

Most on this forum are Dansco people. However, if you look it up there are numerous other brands. Some lately have bragged about Littleton Albums. With a Whitman or Littleton, the Copper color of Cents stands out a lot better than Dansco. And I really hate the fact no slots at the end of pages for grabbing the slides. Most Albums have slots for stuff like the 22 plain so that shouldn't be a reason to choose.
Regardless of which you choose, remember there is a good cost difference in brands.
