I found four 2003A Cabral Snow New York star notes. All uncirculated. According to my grading book it says they are worth $100 each. But why? Any opinions. They are also all consecutive.. I am not home ( at college) so I do not have pictures but will post a picture when ever I can.

My book lists them at $5 each in UNC condition with a total printing of 7,360,000.

When was that book published? That price is incredibly unrealistic.

What are the serial numbers of these notes? The first run of 2003A stars was B1* - B00320000*; being a run of 320,000, these notes are *relatively* uncommon (but not enough so as to be worth $100+ in my opinion). The next New York run is B03200001*-B03520000*, which is another run of 320,000. However, additional New York runs were printed with numbers in the millions printed per run. (Info from http://www.uspapermoney.info/serials/f2003as.html )

Value is dependent on which run you found. The fact that you have four consecutive likely means you have notes from runs with millions of notes printed. Runs of 640,000 or fewer notes are used to replace individual sheets found to have errors before cutting and strapping. Runs with more notes are used to replace entire straps of 100 notes at a time after cutting, which more likely explains finding consecutive notes.

Either way, the notes are hardly likely to be worth $100+. Notes from the 320,000 runs are selling for $25 or so (see http://www.fstctycurr.com/frn_1-11.html ).

Those are the most common serial numbers for the New York Stars. $5 full retail in Choice CU.
