Not knowing anything about currency, please give me your thoughts. I have in the original bank band, 1995 $1 star notes, S/N I05053301-I05053400. Think that one of my kids took one many years ago. Any way they are in crisp condition, worth anything more the $ 99.00?

With a run size of 3.2M, probably not worth much over face but I'll let more experienced folk chime in. You might be able to list them on ebay for a slight premium but you'd have to be certain you could get enough over face value to cover the seller's fees.

Optionally, you could use them as stocking stuffers, birthday money, or tip with them. It's always fun to explain to someone what a star note is.

Let us know what you decide to do.
Rest in Peace

Check out this site to see the print runs for each FRB.

Scroll to the bottom of the page to see the print runs for star notes.

While the print runs are large, you do have a nice set of sequential stars and there have been several series since the 1995 series....so, just saying, it could be worth something to the right buyer -- not get rich quick money, but I would think you could get a small premium.

These will definitely have a premium due to it still being in the original band. I wouldn't remove any; Keep it original. You would probably get $150-$175 on ebay.

If you have serials 301-400, that's a full strap of 100 (unless one is missing in the middle somewhere). But yes, for a full strap of 1995 stars, I'd see $150 easily.
