I agree. It is a die crack across the top of the devices. I've seen a lot of die crack on the base of the bust during this series. Most of the time it is on the other side of the bottom edge of the bust.

Since you're new here, I'd like to point out that your first to replies are from experts.

I will add that your coin is a KEEPER. It might not be really valuable, but it is interesting since the die crack is right at the initials.
