One expert says that it's hub doubling. Other expert says the coin is "damaged". Where is the true?

It looks like regular die-deterioration doubling to me.

Based on the pics I dont personally see evidence of hub doubling. The doubling I see on both sides may well be DDD and MD.
Looks cool but no real additional value.

This is regular Die Deterioration doubling----the "shadows" are caused by the process of "filling"-----see CoinsandCanada site on errors #8 .
Hub doubling is very very rare with modern dies---dies are built to produce millions of coins.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your opinion. I own this coin for about 20 years. I haven't seen similar coin like my one. There are many examples of Canadian DDD and MD but no one is like this. However, thank you it doesn't matter. I'll not sell the coin.
