One of the 1798 overdate varieties, S-151.
Has a prominent edge nick on the obverse and some deposits, in addition to red spots on the reverse. I have had this coin for over 20 years and the spots are fully stable and smooth so I tend to think it is surface discoloration (rather than corrosion).
The surfaces are otherwise smooth and hard.

I have a problem grading this coin. How would you grade it?

F Details IMHO. Yup a 151. Die cracks at a minimum - nice planchet.

S-151 is still a desirable attribute. Yeah, the rim ding is a problem unfortunately.
Near AM appears to be corrosion. Great coin regardless.
I'm at F details.

The uneven wear appearance of the obverse leads me to believe you have a weak strike. The strong dentils and date along with a defined drape would lead me to a little higher grade. I'm at VF20 and 25 would not surprise me

Thank you for your opinions, everybody.
I think panzaldi has it right - that is what I meant with having difficulties grading this coin.
What appears to be wear on the obverse may in fact be a weak obverse strike - at least that is my conclusion comparing with other S-151s at H.A.
My grade: F15/VF20 with defects as noted.

Great LC G. Dig the strong rims.
I will give it an Net Fine details. Minus one grade for the rim ding.
